I n the conditions of the global free compe tition in the field of economy, it became clear world-wide that for maintaining oneself on the floating line in the field of technics, goods and services one must fastly apply the latest achievements offered by the innovational sphere. In the absence of such strong, effective and globally tested remedies, advancement is not possible for countries in transition. By creation of a competent legal framework in the IP field, by adoption of a Law perfectly harmonized with the provisions of the international legislation on foreign investments, the Republic of Moldova takes a prominent place in the rating of countries with transition economy. We may say for certain that one of the main impediments in asserting the civilized economic principles is lack of a functional wellplanned information system in the field of legal protection of IP objects and utilization of the rights acquired by registration thereof. Such kind of information became for quite a long time a strategic element for countries with stable economy. By virtue of the conditions offered by the economic system, to which we were party, we omitted some defining stages with a view to the efficient assimilation and application of IP information.
