Rezumat

The paper presents short review of alternative schemes, algorithms, and techniques of space-vector-oriented synchronous multi-zone pulsewidth modulation (PWM), developed and investigated for synchronous regulation of three-phase and five-phase converters of open-end winding motor systems. These strategies and techniques of synchronous multi-zone PWM applied for regulation of the corresponding converters of three-phase, five-phase and six-phase ac systems insure both improved spectral composition (without undesirable subharmonics) of basic voltages of ac systems (characterized by its continuous symmetries) and minimization of value of common mode voltage in these topologies of the analyzed drive systems.
