Rezumat

70 patients with Klatskin tumors were admitted to surgical clinic during the period of 2000-2013 years. According to the Bismuth-Corlette classification 9 (12.85%) patients were with type I and II of tumors, 7 with type IIIA, 7 with type IIIB, the last 47 cases were represented by 47 patients with Klatskin tumor type IV. Diagnostic was made by clinical examination, laboratory tests, ultrasound, ERCP, MRI cholangiography. These methods are the methods of choice in the diagnostic of Klatskin tumor. Radical surgical treatment was performed in 24 (34.2%) patients. CBD resection with performing of bihepaticojejunoanastomosis was applicated in 9 cases, left hepatectomy - in 7 cases and right hepatectomyin 7 cases with preserving of digestive tract integrity by loop Roux and Y. All types of operations associate with segment I resection, which can insure the radical treatment. Conclusions: 1. Diagnostical algorithm in patients with Klatskin tumors included clinical examination, laboratory investigations, abdominal US, ERCP, MRI cholangiography. 2. Radical surgical treatment of patients with Klatskin tumors consists in CBD resection, left or right hemihepatectomy. All types of operations should be associated with caudal lobe resection with the aim to achieve the radical treatment.
