T he morphological and cytological parametres of pollen grain nuclei of different tomato mutants was studied. It shi necessary to underline that the mutations concern only reproductive sphere. A Feulgen reaction was perfomed in order to study such vegetative and generative parametres of nuclei: as:area, perimeter, diameter, total DNA content and DNA content per unit area, degree of studies traits has related with the aid of automatization complex “Morphoquant” – SM – 4. The histogram of distribution of nuclei with respect to some of the informative characters showed the appearance of classes with higher and lower values.
