The material presented in the article below comes to discuss a number of issues, which still leave a question mark regarding the evolution of some denominations in Bessarabia, in our case being the Gregorian Armenians from Balti. The arrival in this city of the Armenian Catholics is reviewed based on the invitation of the Panaite family, as well as the construction of the Church „St. Nicolae” and „Dormition of the Mother of God ”. Attempts are being made to establish the first documentary and statistical attestations of the representatives of the cult centered on Ecimiadzin, as well as the cause of the lack or omission of data referring to the Armenians from Balti in the statistical documents and reports.
