The soil is a natural body, which was formed under the action of pedogenetic factors such as climate, lanscape, parent rocks, flora, fauna and time. Lately, the anthropogenic factor has a great influence on the properties of soils. The human society currently endowed with high technical performance, advanced methodologies, contributes substantially to the increase or decrease of soil fertility. The capitalization conditions of the agricultural lands are closely correlated with the pedogenetic factors mentioned above, which favor the rational-scientific use of the soil on the researched territory. The pedological materials constitute the informational basis for the design and organization of the territory, as well as for a series of hydrotechnical, pedo-ameliorating, forestry, agrochemical aspects etc.
