IENCES Modern science is undergoing a radical revision epochal phase of its traditional paradigm. With the unprecedented discovery of quantum physics, scientists’ interest has focused largely on the new world that is called subatomic reality. The result has created a new scientifi c picture of the world. Everything is going through a fundamental reconceptualization. There have emerged new sciences in the spirit of the new vision of reality, and traditional sciences, in this respect, reconsider their epistemological basis. The same thing is to make it about music as the science of music relates directly and entirely to the new principles of the theory of knowledge. The author undertakes an attempt to include the science of music in the today’s scientific approach.Musicology being placed face to face with some basic science about life, human, consciousness, evolution (philosophy, quantum physics, systemic biology, modern psychology, educational sciences) and showing similarity in terms of basic principles, the author demonstrates that the phenomenon of the musical sound is successfully enrolled in the modern epistemological discourse. Moreover, the music as its nature may become a priority in knowing the laws of life (in the spirit of this tradition for several centuries and its modern achievements). The author also outlines some perspective directions of interdisciplinary, polidisciplinary and transdisciplinary music dimensions: philosophical, musicological, psychological, pedagogical and general scientific. |
