Visually impaired children have unique educational and development needs that are direct results of their inability, or limited ability, to observe the environmet and reapond accordingly. This article defines the problems of visual loss that result in unique educational needsand details how khowledge of the impact of the loss of vision is essential for the provision of meaningful services to blind and visually impaired children. |
