The article presents the brief information regarding the human scientifi c potential, the
results of the scientific, editorial and innovation activities of the institutions within the framework of the Section for Medical Sciences in 2007. The results achieved in the domains of pharmacology, therapy, surgery, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, hygiene etc. as well as the implementation of the new methods and modern technologies are reflected.
