Background. The Covid-19 pandemic is the deepest global health crisis of the modern era, the most acute challenge for the international community since World War II and requires a coherent, inclusive global approach. Objective of the study. Analysis and detection of the global health phenomenon in the Covid-19 pandemic context, its causes, interference and impact at national, supranational and global level. Material and Methods. . In carrying out the study, various bibliographic sources were consulted and studied, edited and published in the local and international space with philosophical, sociological, economic, anthropological, bioethical, medical content, etc. Scientific methods were applied in the study such as: analytical, historical, synergetic, bioethical, statistical, etc. Results: The COVID-19 pandemic context highlighted the manifestation of those trends and principles of global health that stipulate universal access to medical services for all human communities without any unjustified impediment. This access must be based on the principles of equity: health services must be provided to all who need them; sufficient quality: health services must be of sufficient quality to improve the health of those to whom they are addressed; avoiding unnecessary financial risk: medical services must not put people at risk of financial difficulties. Conclusion. The COVID-19 pandemic phenomenon has generated a series of processes and trends, present in the antecoronavirus evolution of global health, but their magnitude has highlighted new trends, which will fundamentally change the content of this concept in the foreseeable future. |
