In the context of the continuous search to attract the young generation to new challenges of movement and sports games, we discovered a very exciting game called KINBALL, of Canadian origin. Kinball was invented by Professor Mario Demers of QuebecCanada in 1986. This game is overseen and regulated by the International Kin-Ball Federation. Although unknown in Romania, kin-ball is played by almost 4 million people worldwide in the USA, Canada, Malaysia, France, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. The specific elements of Kin Ball are represented by: a huge ball with a diameter of 1.2 m played simultaneously by three teams and not by two, like in the other ball games; ease of successful integration of any participant without previous experience, easy development of individual physical and mental abilities. This article presents the experimentation of this game by the students of the University of Pitești, within the Boboc Camp projects, from September 2019 and 2020. |
