In this article it is described the mode of the life and the activity of Tudor Lupashcu, famous researcher and person of science, Doctor of chemistry, laureate of the Prize of the State, obtaining the honorary title “Om emerit”, Director of the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova; author of about 270 scientific works and owner of 14 patents for inventions. His main investigations related to two very actual scientific directions (physical chemistry, protection of the environment and utilization of the natural resources), in the field of synthesis of active coal of the autochthonous raw material, and some technologies for water protection and human sanitary, represented at the scientific forums of the country and abroad, as well as at the International Exhibitions of Inventions, where he was decorated with gold, silver and bronze medals.
