The article provides an overview of the literature of the Republic of Moldova for the last 30 years. For the most part, the analysis includes literature written in romanian, because the offers in other languages were small and not very obvious. The reconfiguration of the geographical and socio-political borders in 1991, the transition to the latin alphabet, the freedom of creation brought radical changes in the cultural life and, implicitly, in the literary process in the space between the Dniester and the Prut. The amalgam of linguistic and identity complexes that emerged as a result of the integration and revision of the values to which a generational canonical battle was added did not prevent the dynamic manifestations of a large number of writers with different visions and aesthetic tastes, an authentic literary life and a living literature and, again, in free evolution. Out of a need for order, the analysis is divided into literary genres: poetry, prose (short prose and novel), dramaturgy, literary essay and criticism, history and literary theory. |
