Reprezentările sociale au un rol major în cunoașterea realității umane. Ele reprezintă prisma colectivă prin care individul privește lumea înconjurătoare, o „grilă de lectură” a realității sociale. În acest context, noi considerăm că în explorarea fenomenelor sociale este important de a înțelege mecanismele interioare ale reprezentării sociale, structura și organizarea ei. La etapa actuală există diverse abordări ale reprezentării sociale care permit studierea subiectului menționat: investigații experimentale ale reprezentărilor sociale, cercetarea funcțiilor anticipatoare ale reprezentării, cercetări asupra structurii interne și dinamicii reprezentării, identificarea metodelor de recunoaștere a conținutului unei reprezentări. În comunicarea dată vom încerca să identificăm pârghiile cunoașterii reprezentării sociale în cercetarea fenomenelor sociale.

Social representations have an important role in the process of knowing the human reality. They represents the collective prism through which the individual are looking at the surrounded world, they are “grids of reality reading”. In this context, we consider that in the process of exploration the social phenomena, it is necessary to understand the internal mechanisms of social representation, its structure and organization. Nowadays there are many different approaches of investigation social representations which allow to study the given subject: experimental investigations of social representations, the research of anticipatory functions of the representation, the research of internal structure and dynamics of the representation, the identification of methods of exploring the content of a certain representation. In the given communication we will try to identify the leading mechanisms of knowing the social representation in order to explore social phenomena.
