The given study emphasizes the role of trip/journey as an educational tool. Originally the main goals of journeys and trips were to provide national values, identity and identification with the people heritage that renewed the country. The activities were aimed to deepen the sense of belonging and strengthening of the young people's attachment to Israel. Teens travel across the country, fact which represents an important tool in implementing social and ideological objectives of the various Zionist movements. Journeys of youth movements and those of the army of the state deepened the relationship between history and territory and have shaped the perception of the country as their homeland. Even today journeys and trips are still used as an educational tool essential to the education system in formal and informal alike to achieve social goals, learning performance. |
