Rezumat | ||||||
In this study is examined the activity of Cr. Rakowsky for undermining the Romanian legal order, after his release from house arrest in Iasi, in May 1917, by a group of Russian soldiers. After the Bolshevik party took the power, Rakowsky returned to Odessa with the mandate to organize a coup in Romania and Bessarabia and proclaim a “Soviet republic”. The Romanian Consulate General in Odessa, as well as the Romanian refugees in this city, were among the victims of the policy of terror promoted by Rakowsky and his lieutenants in 1918. |
