In the period y. 2019-2020 at the karakul sheep farm “Cocieru Vitalie Tudor” the mating scheme of sheep was implemented, throughout the herd were studied the color, classification, type of looping, body development and the breeding nucleus was selected. Of the total number of sheep, those with the color sur (buhar) constitute a maximum share of 45.1%, they are followed by those of black with a share of 37.9% and those of grey with 15.9%. It was revealed that the sheep of the elite class in total per herd constitute 33.7%, of class I respectively 63.0%. They have the required types of loops and especially costal with 48.7% and flat - 39.8%. The breeding nucleus is represented by selected sheep with average body mass: at breeding rams 103.1 ± 9.91 kg, at sheep 61.18 ± 0.41 kg, at rams 79.65 ± 2.33 kg, at sheep of more than one year 53.28 ± 0.60 kg, at 6-month-old rams 50.86 ± 3.18 kg and at 6-month-old lambs 36.92 ± 0.60 kg. The intensity of the selection was at adult animals within the limits of 60-93.5%, in youth over one year 93-100% and at 6-month-old youth, respectively 71.4-86.1%. Economic efficiency calculated on average per head from the selection nucleus in relation to the standard of the Moldovan karakul type was 500.81 lei. |
