This article is about the sections in the solid figures (polyhedra). This subject refers to the solid geometry – stereometry, more specifically - to the solid constructions. This article answers some questions, as for example – what to make a solid figure means, what a section is. It also points out the problems that arise when creating sections. The most general way of creating a section in a polyhedron (in annular figures) is proposed. A range of problems concerning the subject are proposed for the individual work of those interested in geometry.
