Rezumat

In this article we are trying to tackle the problem of personal development, in the context of the challenges of the postmodern educational environment and its correlation with emotional expressiveness. Personal development is a process that normally lasts all your life. It identifies with a main direction of evolution of training-development activity – permanent education of personality. Its purpose is to maintain and improve the quality of life. In this order of ideas, personal development is reflected in what you are (recognition), what you do (respect) and what you feel (attitude). Respectively, a change is required, which, at the same time, means leaving the comfort zone, opening up to new challenges. Any change generates affective stress, change of behavior, which can be channeled towards optimism and positivism by enhancing emotional expressiveness.
