Rezumat

Ethical dimensions of climate change. This article addresses the ethical dimensions of climate change and global warming. The author makes a brief analysis of the published work on the ethical dimensions of climate change that shows that, on the one hand, there are very few studies examining the relationship between global climate change and morality, on the other hand, they show that philosophers failed to focus attention on these issues. It is noted that studies are needed on this area and that climate change should become a serious concern of both moral philosophy and social and humanitarian sciences in general. However, there are elucidated a lot of problems to be addressed and resolved by moral philosophers: developing the theoretical basis of a new global ethic on climate change; member role in solving these problems and their moral obligations in response to global warming; ethical and moral rules on climate change and their proliferation; relationship between the ethics of global climate change and the international relations; common responsibilities of states in this field, etc.
