In a research field of social - humanitarian knowledge of a problem of philosophy of a history remain poorly studied. The question is, in particular, such global phenomenon as a historicism which has come in an essence of the European mentality. The purpose of clause is revealing essence of this phenomenon through a prism of a history of his consideration. The theme of interface of the major aspects of a historicism with processes of social transformations is central. The historicism is considered not only as a principle of scientific thinking as the science about laws of development of a society, but is much wider, namely, as idea historical.
