| Rezumat | ||||||
The paper argues (using the exemple of the Moldavian SSR newspa-pers situation as a case study) that the measures taken by the Party and Soviet authorities during the Khrushchev era in order to improve the activi-ty and the cost-effectiveness of mass media, being implemented without a logical analysis of the possible side effects, had largely determined the exact opposite of what was in fact intended: strengthening the propagandistic and organizational capacities of mass media and the imrovement of its eco-nomic efficiency. |
