| Rezumat | ||||||
The article analyzes the means of water transport in Moldova from the 15th century to the middle of the XXth century. It pays specific attention to monoxilon – a type of boat, constructed from a single tree trunk, as well as to the names that local people gave to these types of boats. The article also considers historical testimonies about measures taken to improve navigation on the Pruth River. |
