Rezumat

In recent years an increasing number of psychological researches have not been focusing their attention on the problems faced by a person during their life, but on the favorable conditions of human mental activity, leading to optimal functioning. The recent trend to concentrate on optimal functioning has also aroused the attention in organizational psychology, as is demonstrated by a recent plea for positive organizational behavior. Thus in positive psychology there is a concept work engagement, which in the past decade has been of interest to both practitioners and academicians. In light here of the relevance of this study necessitates the identification of factors that contribute to the maintenance and state of work engagement among teachers as they are more susceptible to negative symptoms such as emotional burnout. Therefore, one of the main factors of work engagement among representatives of this profession is their personal resources.
