Rezumat

Today, much attention is paid to the conservation of livestock genetic resources, which are essential for the further conservation of endangered species and rare animals. At the same time, there is a need to maintain potential, and environmental changes, in turn, lead to a loss of reproductive qualities of high-value breeding individuals. In this case, the physiological and morphological indicators of the reproductive material of breeding animals are lost, which is reflected on the solution of the problems of preserving biodiversity and life support of the population. The data on the rates of extinction of animal breeds are of great importance, but even more disturbing is the fact that genetic livestock resources that are not controlled by specialists and whose characteristics and potential are not known can be lost. There is a need to concentrate and strain all efforts on solving, prioritizing and protecting the animal genetic resources necessary to preserve the genetic potential of breeding studs. Currently, researchers in this field are trying to find a way out of such a difficult situation by various methods, including cryopreservation and deconservation of the reproductive material of breeding studs. The staff of our laboratory performed experiments on the development of media for deconservation of the genome of studbulls. In the experiment, the effect of various concentrations of iron sulfate and ascorbic acid was studied, respectively, from 0.1 to 0.9 mM and from 0.9 to 0.1 mM. As a result of the studies, it was proved that the addition of 0.2 mM iron sulfate and 0.5 mM ascorbic acid to a 3% sodium citrate solution increased the mobility of thawed gametes by 37% compared with the control variant. Thus, the fertilization of cows increased by 8.8%, compared with the control group, where the semen was thawed without the use of the developed medium. The efficiency of the medium can be due to the modulation of intermolecular interactions, and in particular, donor-acceptor interactions, which are manifested in the redox processes as a result of deconservation of the semen. Thus, the use of the reactivator medium that stabilizes the functional activity of gametes during thawing of bull semen is another way to improve the quality of deconserved material.
