Rezumat

As a conclusion, in the interwar period, thanks to the cultural events, the radio was used more and more in the basarabean society. The radio shows had really important functions as: informational, initiation in different domains, practical functions, cultural synchronization, adaptation to romanian culture, national education. People who were owning a radio were benefiting of valuable information. The radio was a tool for promoting the national talents and art. The radio audition were considered as the most common promotional ways for national bands from Basarabia. The wider usage of the radio was helping to strengthen the cultural progress where a lot of provincial institutions were taking part of. Thanks to the cultural institutions, the radio became very common in many houses. Through the radio, people could learn about other villages and the activities of the cultural institutions. As the cultural awareness was growing more and more important, a lot of funds were starting to be collected for newer technical devises. In this way, the radio from Basarabia soon became a real competitor of the soviet radio post from Tiraspol which was leading a communist propaganda encouraging people to hate Romania and separation.
