With globalization and financial integration, there has been rapid growth of international lending and foreign direct investment. In view of this emerging trend, country risk analysis has become extremely important for the international creditors and investors. The intention of this paper is to point out the interconnection between country risk and effects of foreign direct investment on the domestic and foreign company. Also this working paper analyzes the impact of uncertainty and country risks on various decisions of a multinational enterprise, which undertakes a direct investment abroad. |
