This article is about the political parties and elections in the Republic of Moldova. First
of all it is necessary to get a good understanding of the concept „political party”. Civil society is
a sphere where an individual is free to determine his interests, join associations. This sphere is
based on a lawful democratic principles that determines relations between state and society. This
research paper discusses and evaluates various factors and conditions of Moldavian democracy.
