Ilustraţiile provenite din subiectele poveştilor lui Ion Creangă, clasice şi în permanenţă reeditare, sunt catalogate drept creaţia de vârf a graficii de carte din Moldova. Realizările excepţionale ale graficii, care ilustrează cele mai reuşite ediţii ale operei lui I. Creangă, au reprezentat arta autohtonă la expoziţiile de artă din diferite perioade şi fac parte din patrimoniul naţional cultural. Urmărind creaţia pictorilor din câteva generaţii, vom elucida evoluţia modificării sarcinilor creatoare în acest domeniu al graficii de carte. Se acordă o deosebită atenţie calităţilor artistice ale maeştrilor din generaţia mai în vârstă – Boris Nesvedov, Leonid Grigoraşenco, Ilia Bogdesco, dar şi succeselor graficienilor mai tineri – Filimon Hămuraru, Аlexei Colâbneac, care au creat modele tradiţional-naţionale. Sunt analizate, de asemenea, şi seria ilustraţiilor realizate de Igor Vieru, Isai Cârmu, Eudochia Zavtur, Simion Zamşa, foarte interesante din punctul de vedere al stilului şi al tehnicii de realizare.

The famous folk tales written by Moldovan storyteller Ion Creangă have long become literary classics and have been regularly published in the country for the past 60 years. Some of the illustrations on the theme of Ion Creangă’s folk tales are considered to be the best in Moldavian book art. Unique graphic works from the childrens’ books had been exhibited in many art expositions. Nowadays they constitute the national cultural heritage. To scrutinize the creative works executed by the famous Moldavian artists of several generations is the way the changing artistic problems of book art can be traced. The author of the article pays special attention to the artistic qualities of works made by the well-known masters of older generation – Boris Nesvedov, Leonid Grigoraşenco, Ilia Bogdesco, as well as of the younger ones’ – Filimon Hămuraru, Alexei Colâbneac, who created the typical national characters. Also are examined series of illustrations of Igor Vieru, Isai Cârmu, Eudochia Zavtur, Simion Zamşa, which are interesting by style and technique.

Иллюстрации на тему сказок И. Крянгэ, которые давно стали литературной классикой и регулярно издаются в республике уже на протяжении 60 лет, относятся к высоким образцам молдавского искусства книги. Уникальные произведения графики, вошедшие в лучшие издания И. Крянгэ, представляли искусство Молдовы на художественных выставках разных лет и ныне составляют национальное культурное наследие. На примере творчества художников нескольких поколений прослеживается смена художественных задач в этой области книжного искусства. Автор статьи уделяет особое внимание художественным качествам работ мастеров старшего поколения – Бориса Несведова, Леонида Григорашенко, Ильи Богдеско, а также успехам более молодых графиков – Филимона Хэмурару, Алексея Колыбняка, – создавших типические национальные образы. Рассматриваются также серии иллюстраций Игоря Виеру, Исая Кырму, Евдокии Завтур, Семена Замши, интересные по манере и технике исполнения.
