This article covers the political parties and elections in the Republic of Moldova. First of
all it is necessary to get a good understanding of the concept of „political party”. Civil society is
a sphere where an individual is free to determine her interests, and join associations. This sphere
is based on legal democratic principles that determine relations between the state and society.
This research paper discusses and evaluates various factors and conditions of Moldovan
democracy.
