The expected results in modern agriculture can be obtained by applying environmental technologies and taking into account the genotype functionality factor. Knowing the functional properties of the genotype and the use of environmental technologies for growing grapes, in the future it will be possible to create balanced, sustainable and diversifi ed agroecosystems, which will guarantee the protection of natural resources, sustainable development of society and public health. The grape sector needs to create new grape varieties, with stable productive potential, to produce high-quality derived products. As a result of the crossing of the species V. vinifera L. ssp. sativa D.C. (2n=38) with Muscadinia rotundifolia Michx. (2n=40), root-specifi c genotypes of grapes were obtained, to which ecological cultivation technologies can be applied, for example: Malena, Nistryana and Algumaks as table varieties and Augustine, Alexandrina and Amethyst for fresh consumption and for processing. |
