This article examines the role of morality in providing national and international security. The author considers that the moral consolidation within society, state and international community is able to protect all sorts of threats to human being and humankind. According to the author, providing national and international security– economic, social, political, environmental, spiritual one – is impossible without common moral and ethical principles as a warning and controlling beginning. Morality as a fundamental principle penetrates security in any its incarnation. In modern society, at every threat, society creates an effective mechanism for converting the public interest in personal interests – through morality. In one state the moral relationship, the moral climate provide national security, and in community of states – international security.
