| Rezumat | ||||||
The article examines the evolution of Moldovan political elite in the context of the
democratization and Europeanization processes taking place in the society. Particular
attention is paid to political elite’s transformation from one type to another and trends
in the interaction and efficient operation of power elites. It concludes that the affir-
mation and functionality of the new political elite and the new democratic institutions
in our country is a contradictory and lengthy process, which can be found in other
countries in the post-Soviet independent as well.
