Abstract: Competitivity is an important factor in the viability of companies and the economy in general. Globalized trade relations have placed the subject of competitiveness on several levels - micro, medium, macro and meta-economic, which interact and influence each other. The issue of competitiveness of the agricultural sector is extremely important, given its GDP and the number of people employed in this sector of the national economy. The development of agricultural competitiveness in the Republic of Moldova was analused on the base of a statistical data analysis.
