In a society that is changing and facing a series of crises, it is increasingly important to set up mutual aid groups for survival and further development. According to T. Parsons’ theory of structural functionalism, self-help is a system that fulfi lls the function of adaptation, achievement of purpose and integration. In transforming societies such as the Republic of Moldova, we can observe several trends and disintegration processes. It should be noted that in the literature there is currently a shift in emphasis in the interpretation of the notion of solidarity. If previously the priority was given to the national-state parameters, now the solidarity to a greater extent is examined through the prism of the relations in communities at micro level. The concept of solidarity is a basic one in studying the process of differentiation among young people. In this context, the notion of solidarity has perpetuated the idea that communication occupies the main place in the formation of emotional bonds within youth groups. |
