Introducere. Organizațiile medicale activează în condiții de incertitudine, concurență, de dificultăți și schimbări. Managerii trebuie să facă faţă unor factori mult mai numeroşi aflaţi în continuă schimbare. Planificarea strategică permite anticiparea problemelor şi oportunităţilor, menţinerea unui raport între obiectivele şi capacităţile organizaţiei, pe de o parte, şi obiectivele sale de marketing pe de alta. Introduction. Medical organizations work under conditions of uncertainty, competition, difficulties and changes. Managers have to cope with a number of continuously changing factors. Strategic planning allows for anticipation of problems and opportunities, maintaining a relationship between the objectives and capabilities of the organization on the one hand and its marketing objectives on the other hand. Objective of the study. To analyze the strategic planning tools of medical institutions and their role in improving the organizational management. Material and methods. Descriptive study; the subject of study – two medical institutions, 60 employees were questioned. The collection of information and working data was done by using the documents provided by the medical institutions and the method of investigation. The questionnaire included 16 open, semi-open and closed questions. Results. The degree of information of the analyzed contingent on the existence of the strategic plan (89%), the mission (90%), and the objectives (70%) within the institution is high. Among those questioned, 33% suppose that the duration of the plan is 5 years.The SWOT analysis was the most used instrument in the study (75%). There is a need in complementary knowledge – 90%. Conclusions. (1) It is worth noting the importance of strategic planning and the need to develop complementary skills in strategic management. (2) There are shortcomings in the implementation of the strategic plan. |
