Background. In the epidemiology of cancer in children is explained primarily by the fact that these risk factors are indirectly involved through the mothers of children. Epidemiology of tumors in children - is the epidemiology of parents. Objective of the study. To investigate the epidemiological factors of tumors in children, harmful occupational factors, harmful habits, physical or chemical factors that act on parents and through them on children. Material and Methods. This paper was carried out within the National Project "Modern personalized surgery in the diagnosis and complex treatment of tumors in children." The files of the patients treated in several sections of the IO and IMSP IMșiC were used. Results. Tumor epidemiology in children - the link between the appearance of tumors in children with obstetric pathology, viral infections during pregnancy, the effects of maternal vaccination during pregnancy, genetic and family factors, age and / or birth defects. In the structure of malignant tumors (650 children) of which 62% boys and 38% girls in children in the Republic of Moldova the leading place is occupied by hemoblastosis 45%, followed by brain and bone marrow tumors (10%), thyroid cancer 7%), neuroblastoma (5%), soft tissue and bone tumors (7%), kidney, eye, liver. Conclusion. 1) The diagnosis of malignant tumors presents serious difficulties. The age of the patients creates difficulties in collecting the anamnesis and accusations. 2) They require specialists to have a deep knowledge of the peculiarities of the evolution of malignant tumors in children. |
