Background. Cystic lymphangiomas a angiomatous tumors, that account for 9-10% of all benign neoplasia’s in pediatric oncology. The most cases are diagnosed in children until 2 years. 80-90% are congenital lymphangiomas.The diagnosis is based on clinical and imagistic examinations. Objective of the study. To present the role of clinical and paraclinical manifestations in the diagnosis of lymphatic cysts formations. Material and Methods. We present clinic case of a patient 3 months of age, hospitalized in CNȘP de Chirurgie Pediatrică „ Natalia Gheorghiu” with a right axillar tumor present at birth. Echography has shown liquid content CT: adjacent veins and arteries are intact Treatment: total excision of right axillar lymphoma. The histopathologic exam confirmed the cystic lymphangioma. Results. The studied case represents a congenital axillar cystic lymphangioma. Objectevly a oval tumoral formation was noticed, tough-elastic consistency, sensible at palpation, fluctuation was present, the adjacent skin had normal aspect. The diagnosis techniques confirmed the liquid content of the lymphoma. The lymphangioma was treated surgically, with a satisfactory outcome without any relapse. Conclusion. Complex evaluation, using clinical and paraclinical methods, of congenital cystic formations, permits us identify its form, in this case – axillar cystic lymphangioma. |
