Rezumat

The models have an important role in modern scientific research. The construction material of these models is based on the mathematical concepts and symbols. Actually every math concept, every mathematical object, starting from the concept of number is a mathematical model. When setting up the mathematical model there are those characteristics of object modeling highlighted which, on the one hand, are informative and on the other hand, allow mathematical formalization. The formalization implies the possibility of putting in correspondence the original characteristics with adequate mathematical notions: numbers, functions, matrices, etc. In this hypothesis, the detected and hypothetical links within the components of the object study can be described with the help of mathematical relations: equations, inequalities, formulas etc. Following the mathematical formalization a mathematical model is obtained. The mathematical model is a system of mathematical relationships that describe the essential properties of the original. So solving a real problem can be reduced to solving a mathematical problem. Math’s symbols serve as the most convenient means to describe the properties of the surrounding world, first and foremost of the quantitative ones. Mathematical description can be tested in terms of logical non-contradiction, approximation of the obtained results, performing the data processing with the help of electronic computer.
