Background. According to the WHO, urinary infections are on the 2nd place in the human infectious pathology. CPN is ranked at the top in the frequency of renal diseases and is one of the main causes of the development of chronic renal failure. Yearly, on a global scale, 1:1000 people become ill with CPN. Objective of the study. Research on the presence of risk factors according to age and sex in patients with chronic pyelonephritis in dependence on etiological treatment. Material and Methods. A retrospective and prospective study was performed on patients hospitalized in the Nephrology Department IMSP SCR "Timofei Moşneaga", in the period 2018-2019, diagnosed with chronic pyelonephritis. There were selected 100 patients and formed 2 groups: 50 male patients and 50 female patients. All patients were investigated - laboratory and instrumental. Results. There was established that among the risk factors in men: urolithiasis prevails - 33 (66%) patients, then - prostate hyperplasia - 28 (56%) patients, somatic pathologies - 24 (48%) patients, low fluid intake - 11 (22 %) patients, congenital malformations 6 (12%) patients, in women - urolithiasis - 39 (78%) patients, then - somatic pathologies - 26 (52%) patients, low fluid intake - 14 (28%) patients, malformations congenital - 8 (16%) patients. There was detected the presence of : E.coli - 21% in men and 57% in women; Proteus - 52% in men and 17% in women; Klebsiella - 14% for men and 16% for women; P.aeruginosa - in men 13% and in women 10%. Conclusion. Drug treatment is a complex one. In addition to the etiological treatment according to the antibiogram, it is recommended symptomatic treatment, with the restoration of the urinary passage, the improvement of renal hemodynamics, phytotherapy, physiotherapy and the treatment of CPN complications. |
