As a part of the harmonization of collective investment legislation the EU managed to create the most advanced system of collective investment recognition and distribution beyond the national boundaries. At the present time the major part of existing in EU funds are functioning in accordance with the harmonized legislation and practice. In this article the consecutive steps of regulatory and legal environment creation for investment funds in the EU are identified. |
