Nowadays the industry of tourism in Moldova is focused on developing rural and wine tourism. The directions of implementation of the wine tourism in Cahul district is largely an analysis of theoretical and practical tools that can boost the potential of natural and anthropogenic wine tourism by developing and providing a stable and sustainable development of the tourism industry. Overall aim and objectives of the research were determined by the need to find concrete ways to exploit the tourism potential of Cahul and promote it as a tourist destination both domestically and internationally, analyzing the major obstacles that hinder the tourism development and finding appropriate solutions to remove them as a reference model having successful international practice.
