The paper presents the results of the study of the selection of varroasis-resistant Carpathian bees. The selection of bee families is made after the production of honey, winter resistance, diseases, queen prolificacy and other characteristics. It was revealed that hives with queens Carpathian local breed and are more resistant to varroa mites are attacked less than those imported. Families of bees with queens first generation F1 (♀ import + ♂ local), according to the number of mites fallen after three treatments, occupy an intermediate position between local and import bees. |
