The research focuses on discovering the most important dimensions responsible for the professional success of university teachers, being a major objective of applied psychology studies. Successful university teachers are most often characterized by attributes such as professionals, talented, competent or performers. The term "efficient" is used with a similar meaning. For this reason, a conceptual delimitation is required between all these terms and the definition of their scope, in order to detach the configuration of features circumscribed to the concept of professional success of university teachers. The professional teaching of the university teacher is a multidimensional construct, an unanimously accepted point of view in the scientific literature, it is interesting, a synthesis of the findings attested in the literature on personality dimensions and their predictive value for the professional success of the teacher. |
