Rezumat

The scientific investigation revealed in this article, relate the investigation results of some microbiological aspects of the pathogenicity of staphylococci in case of purulent staphylococcal pyoderma at carnivores. The aim of the research constitutes the investigation of the pathologic samples in case of pyoderma and identification of the pathogenic germ, using the laboratory investigations. Initiation of these research was motivated by the fact that various types of pyoderma both from the surface as well as from depth, constitute an important problem of diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Was stated the important role of Staphylococcus aureus in the pathogenesis of pyoderma at carnivores, which acts on the defence mechanisms of the host animal. The study was performed in 2015-2016 on 5 carnivores with different races and ages, which had clinical signs of piodema. The laboratory investigations results of the purulent pathologic samples gave us the possibility to determine the presence of Staphylococcus aureus, by performing the microbial samples from native samples and from microbial cultures. At the same time, was stated that in the research study, according to the research literature, pyoderma represent often secondary infections and rarely primary. Therefore, pyoderma, doesn’t appear if only exists association between pathogenic bacteria and factors which allow their proliferation and penetration through skin. Given the aforementioned, these predisposing causes should always thoroughly investigated in cases of relapsing pyoderma.
