The present paper is devoted to a process o f spectator’s perception of different types o f symbols. Three aspects of symbolical associations proposed by the author are traditional, conventional and ideal conforming to intellectual, individual and intuitive ways о/ perception. Shakespeare, directed by I.Butusov (Theatre “Satiricon”, Moscow).
