In this article the author examines the status and specific features of the mass-media after the death of Stalin, the architect of totalitarianism in the Soviet state. The paper carries a picture of the mass-media from the "thaw" Khrushchev (aa. 1951-1964), when the totalitarian regime becomes more "gentle" and experiences a "limited period of freedom." Totalitarianism’s liberalization had a beneficial impact on the work of the mass-media also in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Moldova. During this time in Moldova had been founded several periodical publications, were discovered new development perspectives of the editorial activity, entered into its laws with the Moldovan radio and television. The author highlights and analyzes in details the obstacles that the mass-media from MSSR years had to face during "thaw" Khrushchev years. |
