Rezumat

This paper describes a new association of small shrubs, which occurs on the calcareous slopes of the Dniester river basin, in the Republic of Moldova. The association includes West Sarmatic, xeromesophilous phytocoenoses. Characteristic species are Spiraea crenata and Vinca herbacea. The given association has been included in the alliance Prunion fruticosae Tx. 1952, ord. Prunetalia spinosae Tx. 1952, cl. CRATAEGO-PRUNETEA Tx. 1962 (Mucina et al. 2016).
