MOLDOVAN, UKRAINIAN AND RUSSIAN
WINES: THE PAST, THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE
From 20 famous European wine micro-zones, which are situated from Atlantic to Ural, 8 are situated in Moldova. Moldova is a winery country with a well defined marketing, the production of whom is exported in 50 countries on all known markets: EU, North America, CIS, China, Baltic Countries, Japan etc. But Russian market is for a long time the most important for Moldovan wine – 60% of all wine that are consumed in Russia are from Moldova. Following the motto “If you entered the market, do everything to remain there”, the author is sure that new Moldovan wines will always be present on CIS market, Ukraine and Russia included. |
