The health state of a population depends not only on their genetic heritage but also on other determining factors playing a very important role such as the behavior and attitude towards health, the nature of the social environment where each person lives as well as the health care services. According to the data provided by the World Health Organization, Romania-Republic of Moldova cross-border region the prevalence of oral disorders is increasing as compared to other countries where a clear downfall was registered. The creation of a database to national level regarding oral health in this region is important because can conduct to the implementation of a new prevention programs in areas where the results of the epidemiological study will find a high prevalence of the oral diseases. In this context, a very important event takes place every year, for 11 years, namely, the screening of the oral health of the population in Iaşi County- Prophylaxis Caravan carried out for 40,000 people.
